We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, that's excellent.

July 17th -- right?

Meanwhile, I wish that I believed that Tom on the 4400 could actually get rid of Isabelle.

But I don't think that's going to happen.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How's Colin, Jessica? And don't hold back on my account--I'm genuinely interested.

Happy you like the almost-end product, too! Very happy. That I'll pass on to him regardless.

Ok, going against the grain of Who fans everywhere...

Actually, I agree: both Cybermen AND Daleks is a bit too fucking much. I remain to be convinced next week. But I completely fell for the build-up as to what was inside the sphere (I thought it was something Cybery, Lumic probably), so even though I'd read a spoiler that Daleks might be making an appearance in the final eps, the actual reveal was still a big surprise .

Oh, and so much for the spoiler that Freeman Agyeman is supposed to be the new companion, unless they manage to stuff back half of her brain... .

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Me, too, sumi. They need to do something about her. Omnipotence and invulnerability are getting boring real fast.

Art Crawl!!!

Omnipotence, invulnerability and cranky adolesence make a bad combination.

In better news: my DOCTOR WHO dvds shipped!!! Like 10 days earlier than Amazon.com predicted.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

How's Colin, Jessica? And don't hold back on my account--I'm genuinely interested.

I liked him very much! He's a little stiff in the pilot, but so is the rest of the cast -- it's a very pilot-y pilot, if you know what I mean. (Not nearly as bad as Heroes was with the exposition!speak, but still very Here Are The Characters In The Town And Here Is What They Act Like.)

His character is exactly what you'd expect in a character named Jack Carter, which is just fine. He provides good Everyman snark counterpoint to the endless geekery in the background. Oh, and his co-worker is an ex-commando who can kill people with her pinky, which made me smile.

I just watched the Eureka pilot, and so far I like it a LOT.

Good news! Less than two weeks to the SGAs and Eureka. Yay.

I am seething with anger at my lameass laptop for not working, because I haven't seen any Who since The Satan Pit, which makes me sad. Especially given that there's whitefont to read and, apparently, at least one kickass ep. Grrr.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm still bent out of shape over the name Jack Carter, though. Because that's just redundant on top of overkill. Argh.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

It's like an extra-bizarre portmanteau of Jack O'Neill/Sam Carter! It gives me deep wrong feelings in my chest.

However, Colin is very cute and I'm sure I'll be over it as soon as he starts shooting some bad guy wearing a well-fitting black T-shirt or something.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

No, Vonnie, not a protmanteau, he's the love-child product of their one night together before he died a noble and heroic death, leaving her to raise little Jack all by herself--well, actually, with significant help from Daniel and Teal'c, but that's getting into Full House land, and we want to remain in the land of Teh Drama.

I'm overthinking this, aren't I?
