A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

RTD does a better Buffy than Buffy.

I wonder if he is as partial as Buffy to giving more screen time to characters who are supposed to be dead as Buffy. (white font for concepts of major casting spoilers for end of season 2)

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.

He really did. He supplanted Four in my heart really early on in his season.

I liked him straight off, but it wasn't until Dalek that I gave up and said 'favorite ever'. Because Daleks, despite the update, are still vaguely ludicrous looking villians. And then you had this guy who had been flippant and gently amused in the face of deadly danger previously, Gelth and Slitheen and whatever else, and he was completely out of his mind with fear at seeing it, and it just sold that they really were an epic danger.

If I only had a brain...

RTD does a better Buffy than Buffy.

Not in Season 2, he doesn't. Joss's Season 2 caught fire; RTD's Season 2 was loose and sloppy and all over the place. I have fingers crossed for S3.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

(What is RTD?)

(Thank you. You may now continue your regularly scheduled chat.)

(I have been watching Dr. Who on Sci-Fi, but it didn't really catch my fancy until this last episode.)

Art Crawl!!!

I don't know -- PotW is cool but I kind of love "Primeval" because it's the partnership of Buffy AND the Scoobies that allows her to access that power.

Of course, Season 1 of new Who is SO MUCH better than season 4 of Buffy (overall).

S2 isn't done yet, is it? It seems a little early to assume the threads won't get brought together in the final arc.
