TAR: While what I like most about the show is the challenges and the scenery and the non-scheming beyond outracing, I'm really impressed by the strategizing of Rob and Ambuh. It's quite clever. Not sure if I like the overt-mental-games mercenariness...but.....good game. Just prefer the softer side, I guess.
TAR: When Rob first started talking about quitting I was kind of bummed. But when he was able to rope others in, after the next team had come so there wasn't even a footrace, damn, you just have to give the guy credit. Even Phil couldn't do anything but grin.
I kind of wanted the two women to beat the mom and son, even though I don't really like them much either. But after that "I'm 15 and you can't tell me what to do" tantrum (he's older, I know, but still)? Whatever. They'll knock themselves out soon enough.
Liked the gay boys a bit better this time round, once they started racing and stopped focusing entirely on R and A. I swear, the more the other teams bitch the more I want them to win the whole thing.
Sorry to interrupt the deluge of whitefont ("the White Deluge"), but I have a tax question. I made about $250 from a freelance job, which is apparently too little for a 1099. Do I need to report it anyway?

Sigh. Okay... where? Under "household employee"? It wasn't -- I was organizing paperwork and stuff -- but it wasn't really "self-employment income", I don't think.
Ah! Okay, there is an "other income" space... oh dear, they want a description. Um. Miscellaneous freelance paperwork?
ETA: Holy crap! It was $240, and Turbotax's as-you-go estimate just dropped $27 off my refund! They want over ten percent of my random-crap income?
TAR: I also wanted Debbie and Bianca to beat out Patrick and Susan. Patrick and Susan annoy the heck out of me. And Debbie and Bianca didn't. I'm hoping that some of the scheming will eventually come back to haunt Rob and Amber but this week - - well, I just dislike the gross-out challenges, you know?
Wow! I have just read 832 Natter messages, but I could not stop reading the BRQG messages. And while Buff Diving I think I found a funny made on 9/11, Which makes me uncomfortable, but still funny:

I was sad to see Debbie and Bianca go. They were the last all-female team, and Susan and Patrick have started to annoy the crap out of me.
I liked Rob's plan, and I liked seeing it pulled off. Phil's impressed-ness was hysterical, and Rob's "Phil, sometimes I surprise myself!" was exactly the kind of grandiose pigheaded statement that makes Rob such a lovable little asshead.
