Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lori said she had fun.

I made it to krav just in time to teach -- sad that I missed the Q&A, though. The Capra kid? Dressed like a baller. Very disconcerting and hoodlike.

Kat, I think that is what we're to suspect, but it's never that simple on a JJ show is it? Except ... when it's simpler.

And sadly, I think it's meant to be suspicious but really is simple.

Who is the Capra kid? Weevil? He's supposed to be hoodlike.

My toes are cold.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Where were they showing VM and Welcome to the Hellmouth together? Was it an AH showcase, or just a random pairing?

He's supposed to be hoodlike.

But not in real life! He was in basketball gear and bling, I swear -- not like was a hood, more that he was from around the hood.

Lee, it was the Paley TV festival thingie. I was given tickets for the VM screening and Q&A (but I missed the Q and the A) by a friend. The Buffy beforehand? Very damned random.

But I miss those crazy kids, what with them being alive, unscarred, and having all their eyes.

That's cool, ita. Random, but cool.

Dude, he's a PS kinda guy. Of course he's sporting bling now that he can afford as much as he wants.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The Buffy beforehand? Very damned random.

It's a Paley festival thing. They show a clip from an older show that the newer show is considered a successor to. Apparently last year, they showed Soap at the Arrested Development screening.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Gods, I loved Soap. I think abducted by aliens Bert was my favorite arc. Well, that and Chester's amnesia. "I'm Cheddar Plate!" And Joey's "girlfriend" and the mother of his kid is now Phoebe's boss on Charmed.

...how's that for random?

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I so wished I could go to the Paley festival. There's a discount if you go to an LA university, too. Or so I was told. Oh well.

So catching up on Natter has made me add the following to my to do list:

  • Develop stronger opinions on home schooling.
  • Find more pictures of kitties in baskets.
  • Be funnier.

That's it. I have simple needs, apparently.
