If I wanted to homeschool a putative child, it wouldn't be because I thought I'd be a better teacher mano a mano than many of the well-trained people out there. It would be because I was suspicious of a school system, or wanted the kid to get one on one attention.

Well bon bon, as you may have seen, I am now nested here. Like, with a real nest of twigs and shinny scraps of quotes, with Hoyay on the outside to make it really pretty. For warmth, in the winter I will line it with Badfic on the outside, and scandalous pictures of high society women flashing people their ankles.

Edit: I need to explain the SVH!SV. I'm very annoyed their the initials for Smallville. Everytime I see it, I get it mixed up with the old show "Sweet Valley High" and end up with images of Lex dressed as a cheerleader arguing with Jessica over who takes Tom(who wears a necklace with the word Hoyay) to the Prom. And Red Meteor!Clark shows up on a harly and invite Elizabeth to climb on. After they ride off together, it is revealed that Elizabeth is a female clone of Dominick, with a nose job.

Spanish-speaking peoples:

One of my clients is starting to produce some of its materials in Spanish. This means I find myself trying to figure out how to say things such as "No, I do not wish to participate in Operation Round Up." at fairly short notice. I can kinda sorta read Spanish, but creating it? Not so much. It doesn't seem fair for me to keep asking the hivemind for translations, since I am paid to do this stuff. Anyone interested in taking this on for the occasional monetary reward? The client does longer translations for various printed materials, but I'm left trying to figure out web stuff such as "back" and "next." If so, profile addy is good.
