Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I never end up on any of the cool lists, like specialties, or Buffista caravan songs. I think I need to hire a publicist to up my Buffista visibility factor. I mean, my name starts with an A. I should be at the very top of the list!

Another Woot for the pile: I got a small check from USC today. It was roughly the amount that the republicans stole from my tax return.

It was very nice of the republicans at USC to negate that, then. At least they balance each other out.

Happy Birthday, Cindy!!! May your cats be stacked and your day great!

Who's going to explain an over and under to Jesse?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Who's going to explain an over and under to Jesse?

Doesn't that fall under the general "only shotguns have two barrels" case?

Only one of the barrels is a shotgun though.

Whuhuh?

The other barrel of the shotgun isn't a shotgun? How does that work? And what is it?

I mean, assuming a barrel can be a shotgun in its own right. Which I also don't understand.

You may be associating the over and under with a reacharound.

Perfectly reasonable.

Isn't over and under a way to bet odds on a game?

Where's Pete Rose when you need him?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

There are over and under double barrelled shotguns.

Oh.

Which isn't an "oh" to you, DX. It's an "oh" to Hec. Because I assumed that's what he was talking about.

Over and under rifles? What's the other sort?
