I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Except I'm a girl.

Hey, I'm making ita be Dick Wayne.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Child!ita named her pet doves Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. I just need to savor the rightness of that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is there a secret handshake?

Yeah. About that ... well, we just have to wash our hands afterwards.

Does anyone watch the BBC Monday Mysteries? I love Murphy's Law, but tonight was a bit harsh, what with bouncing the nun, and then having her not die, to be later killed.

Archie Hahnenfurther. I dont think so. Actually, that's just the first street I remember. First nine months of life street would be... Archie [never mind. I think that was Spanish for PO Box. Oh, well.]

I think it's the Archie that's killing me. Mostly.

Best combination using loose guidelines would be Lady Chester, I guess.

So much for my porn star career.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Barky State Highway 156.

Coincidentally, Barky was killed when he ran out onto State Highway 156.

Dog facing down speeding car tends to not end so well for the dog.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Barky State Highway 156.

Heh. Baskerville Bleeker, known as Bussy, which sounds like one of the more annoying characters in a Wooster and Jeeves.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

From Salon:

The Los Angeles Times reports today that Schwarzenegger's administration has circulated a videotape package masquerading as a news report on the governor's proposal to roll back labor regulations that require employers to give their employees half-hour lunch breaks within the first five hours of their shifts. Several California TV stations ran the report as news, offering their viewers a one-sided, government-financed view of Schwarzenegger's proposal.

I don't understand what is positive about denying workers the right to eat.
