Hey Jesse, what were you saying about making fun of SoCal people and weather again?

Oh, I'm not defending it. I just saw the picture and immediately thought how a) weird the placement was and b) can't sit in that.....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey Jesse, what were you saying about making fun of SoCal people and weather again?

What? I'll totally mock this. I'll make fun of classes being cancelled until the subway stops running.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I freely admit that people have been overreacting to the snow this entire winter. The forecast is for 6-10 inches total over the entire night. Seriously 2-3 days of that and then I'll grant you a freak out, but one day with expected melt-off to start immediatelty? that is weak and lame.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Whereas, in Boston, we are all just like, Oh, what, another 4-8 inches of snow? Must be Tuesday.

Unless we are plow guys on a city contract, in which case we are like, Snow overnight? Triple overtime! Yesss!

Ann, that's a ferret.

I freely admit that people have been overreacting to the snow this entire winter.

DC's forecast is down to 3-6. But YSnowMV.

Yeah, I just found a forecast thing of 4-7 inches by morning. It's been snowing for 2 hours, and isn't sticking yet. I'm just saying, I think it'll still be safe to travel this evening.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We're supposed to get 1/2" here. I feel left out.

What was funny was that this morning, there was salt EVERYWHERE on the roads. Piles gathering in the gutters. Huge salt trucks idling right off main roads.

And this was nearly 2 hours before it started snowing. The roads were dry.

Of course, I'll bet they don't get around to plowing (or they wait until it is over sometimes, ) so I expect to be driving home on slightly slushy packed snow.
