Now I have SA! And I had sushi with SA and Perkins, and then Perkins exercised the patience of a SAINT while SA and I geeked out in the comic store. Perkins, unfortunately, is still not feeling 100% well, so she went back to the B&B to sleep, and SA and I are eating edamame, drinking Monkey Business Zinfandel, and geeking out over comics and various other media.

Old married couple story. DH plays basketball on Fridays (and a bunch of other days) at 4PM and usually gets home about 6:30. I was thinking that if he took a quick shower we go out to dinner and still be back in time for the sweet 16 March Madness action. I planned pizza for the boys and I dressed up with the heels and other unusual for me dressy stuff and 6:30 came and went. 7:30 came and went. 8:00 he calls and says blah blah blah coolers of Heineken at the courts, on his way. He gets home at 8:30, takes one look at me and says “oh man, did I blow it.” If I hadn’t been with the man 18 years I wouldn’t be so amused, but no doubt I am going to have a very nice date night tomorrow.

Heh, Laura, sometimes it's better when they "blow it." The ability to extract massive pennance can be a very.good.thing.

ION, my hair is shiny. I got it cut and colored (with highlights, even.) My nails are all buffed and polished a purty pale purply-pink. I feel all sugary. Anyone wanna lick?

They were indeed! CR was pretty good but the city we stayed in was a little too backpackery for my taste. I much preferred Isla Mujeres myself.
