[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Hec, listen to Juliana. She broke her entire face, and is still exquisite.

Just talked with my creative writing prof and TA about the situation. My TA's response? "That's SO cool! You HAVE to write about that and get it published!"

Hee!
Oh, you should get some information from the MARCH lover Kristin. I think Newsweek has a column--some kind of "My Turn" type of deal. She was making a submission to them a while back. She might be able to give you the information on their submission requirements and if there was any renumeration.

I'd write to the ISP of the site(s) using it without permission, though. I think you have a good chance of getting them TOSd, with little effort on your part. You could send the ISP a link to the page of the site that does have your permission to house your piece. Then link to the site(s) using it without permission. Then, explain that when you contacted the webmaster of the site who is using it without permission, you received a shitty response, and I would forward them a copy of said shitty response.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I stand corrected - there IS now a Whole Foods in Swampscott. There is also a Trader Joe's though - it's across from the Super Stop & Shop and on the same strip with CVS and Marshall's.

In fact, checking a map just now, it's just down the two buildings. It went in EXACTLY where I would have put a whole foods (it used to be a Star Market, who got bought out, and then a Johnny Foodmaster - a name I can't even type without chortling - that went out of business). Coooool!!! Go team North Shore!

That was a weird cross post.

vw, I swear I didn't see your good news post before I posted, and not even after. I had to go looking for it, after I saw everyone yaying you. Never mind.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Now I'm worried that Perkins has met an untimely demise. (Not really.) She called me around 11:30 and said that her sinuses and/or allergies were behaving horribly, and she felt like crap, so she was going back to bed, which I wholeheartedly supported. I am a BIG fan of Teh Nap, and Cincinnati is known for being Sinus Hell.

She apologized and said "If you want to do something with your day off, go do it, and I'll see you when SA gets here later." Shyeah -- it's my day off, it's cold and rainy, and I have a stack of books and comics to be read. I'ma curl up in the comfy chair and read. I never get to do this!

I just hope Perkins' sinuses behave, so she can rejoin the world later.

Always Anti-fascist!

Feeling Nicole's one- buffista town pain. I know a few people that could be, but two would be embarrassing, and one is "too busy"(although as much of a Spirit Baby as he is, I would die if he saw the posts about my crushing and how much I hated the now ex-gf...I didn't do anything to her, but I think I was Right About Her, so I think I'm okay with him not visiting our chick pit.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I'm okay with him not visiting our chick pit.

Even if he looses a shoe in it?
