[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm with Tep.

Always Anti-fascist!

Asparagus I do like. My mother says I have champagne tastes. Are artichokes vegs? Timelies! Put in a full writing day already and paid some bills. Love it when this happens.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Artichokes are just the most delicious veggies there are.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It's not me; it's the asparagus. It has an unpleasant taste.

I love asparagus, but my body does not; so I more often choose to indulge my guts than my palate.

I really need to get a copy of Eats Shoots and Leaves, because I can feel my grammar and punctuation skills slipping away.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Vegetables are what food eats.

Aren't you the person that had to be rushed to the hospital this year?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Artichokes are just the most delicious veggies there are.

Mmmm, artichokes.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I love asparagus, but my body does not; so I more often choose to indulge my guts than my palate.

That'd be me with garlic and onions.

Pity, that.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Esp. roasted with olive oil and salt. Yum.

I adore asparagus. And if you do the bit ChiKat suggests, you can also add roasted hazelnuts and a lemon butter sauce. I made this once for Easter and Mom begged me to make it every time I cooked for the family for a couple years afterwards.

Always Anti-fascist!

If artichokes are vegs, they are my favorites. Green peppers are next. Then asparagus. (There are still too many I don't like. Have too many smell/texture squicks.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

artichokes, yum. It's been a long time since I worked through a whole artichoke. But the hearts are yummy and keep me sated.

On the side of asparagus and most vegetables, especially dark green leafy ones. And sweet potatoes. I am obsessed with sweet potatoes as of late. Is there nothing they can't do?
