Esp. roasted with olive oil and salt. Yum.
I adore asparagus. And if you do the bit ChiKat suggests, you can also add roasted hazelnuts and a lemon butter sauce. I made this once for Easter and Mom begged me to make it every time I cooked for the family for a couple years afterwards.
If artichokes are vegs, they are my favorites.
Green peppers are next.
