I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

And now, we've named all of the things I really liked about the movie.

You saw it with me! We mimed our pain!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You are right - the scars move him to third. Though Simon was probably scarred by that time. Doesn't count if we can't see.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

I think Allyson's wondering what they have in common with the hosts, then, if you take away their trademark snarkery. Vaginas and an interest in the Jossverse and crackling chemistry, I'm guessing.

Oh I see, I was suggesting they fill a niche that wasn't being filled by the current show. If there was a show like that already why would they need another? I know better than to discourage snarkery. Remember that whole unfun...nevermind.

I've always thought a podcast was a better option for The Kristen & Allyson Show.

I doubt any radio station would let us smoke while we were working.

It's internet radio and they used quicktime. I don't know anything about podcasts and I may be showing some ignorance but Apple is Apple isn't it? Truth is there are plenty of ways of doing your own show, you don't need thefandom.

And what's a HSQ? Was I absent that day?

hip deep in pie

I loved Zoe's more after Wash died. I really loved her clothes.

I liked to movie quite a bit. I found it long and I was rolling my eyes (@@) during a lot of the speechifying.

I found myself hoping for more bodies after Wash dies. That would have been awesome.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And what's a HSQ? Was I absent that day?

Ah thanks! Now I use the term "Geek Out Moment" but I think it's different. A geek out moment would be like when Yoda opened his robe and force pulled the light saber into his hand and lit it up for the first time. At that point you knew Yoda was about to do damage. It's more of a highly anticipated fan moment. For some it could be when a couple they've been shipping finally hooks up.

I'm struggling to find one in Serenity for me. There were a lot of nice little moments though. I like the "if you can't do something smart, do something right moment" where Jayne scoots the Blue Sun drink over to Simon. With that gesture it's kind of like Jayne saying "even though I think you suck, I'll fight by your side." I also actually really liked the "leaf on the wind" stuff too. I like how Wash used it to psyche himself up.

HSQ is the baddie into the turbine -- any "whoa! hard core! didn't see that coming!" moment.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Just back from Serenity. Liked it a bunch. (was basically unspoiled for the whole thing, so Wash's death was a shock.)

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

HSQ is the baddie into the turbine

or shootin' the horse :)

moonlit was all for driving back to MG to see Serenity again. I was sorely tempted to say yes but the car isn't the healthiest and I didn't want to push it with another 220km round-trip.
