Come on out, River. The nice man wants to kidnap you.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

When I took my only real fall it was in a restaurant. The manager turned as pale as a sheet when she saw a pregnant lady go down in her foyer.
Despite the fact that she already said she fell down the stairs, I thought Raquel posted this, and I was just going to post, "The same exact thing happened to Cashmere!"

Some mornings, there isn't enough coffee in the world.

Baby chimps are so very cute, vw. I thought chimps were my favorite monkey non-human primate, and then I saw Koko the gorilla.

OMG, they are so adorable. You could hear a large amount of the girls in the class "Awwwwww"ing frequently. It was pretty funny.

Today I have 100 pages to read in the most depressing book ever. And supposedly it's going to just continue getting more depressing. Can we hear a big "Yay!" from those in the back?

Now tagless for your comfort.

A-men.

I like baby Bonabos--although they're technically chimps. So tiny. So cute.

I have to get us dressed. The boy has a playdate with a very attractive older woman (she's 18 months).

Huh. State refund is already in the bank this morning. That's weird. Wasn't expecting it so soon. Looks like Owen and I are going OUT for lunch.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

timelies. hooray for a good night's sleep, caught early. Feeling a lot more productive.

Did some political stuff last night, which was simultaneously depressing and energizing. Funny that.

And Heather, I hear you on the pulled in a million different places. It always seems like whenever I/we make a call that we have to one thing, and so we can't do other stuff, that EVERYTHING happens during that time, and no one Gets It. Blah, people.

Hope the baby shower goes well though!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Somewhat gross medical-type question, for anyone who's dealt with pinkeye before: When I woke up this morning, one of my eyes was totally crusted over, to the point where I couldn't open it. I looked in the mirror, and it's maybe a tiny bit bloodshot, but I can't say it looks really pink. Do I try to find some time today to go to a doctor, or just wait and see what happens?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That happened to me once - it went away in a day or so. I never did figure out what caused it.
