Some mornings, there isn't enough coffee in the world.
A-men.
I like baby Bonabos--although they're technically chimps. So tiny. So cute.
I have to get us dressed. The boy has a playdate with a very attractive older woman (she's 18 months).
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Huh. State refund is already in the bank this morning. That's weird. Wasn't expecting it so soon. Looks like Owen and I are going OUT for lunch.
My classroom is freezing.
Someone hand me a blankie, please?
t hands Kristin my Wizard of Oz Bitch blankie
I do want it back, though. It's very precious to me.
timelies. hooray for a good night's sleep, caught early. Feeling a lot more productive.
Did some political stuff last night, which was simultaneously depressing and energizing. Funny that.
And Heather, I hear you on the pulled in a million different places. It always seems like whenever I/we make a call that we have to one thing, and so we can't do other stuff, that EVERYTHING happens during that time, and no one Gets It. Blah, people.
Hope the baby shower goes well though!
Awww! How much do I love vw?!?
Somewhat gross medical-type question, for anyone who's dealt with pinkeye before: When I woke up this morning, one of my eyes was totally crusted over, to the point where I couldn't open it. I looked in the mirror, and it's maybe a tiny bit bloodshot, but I can't say it looks really pink. Do I try to find some time today to go to a doctor, or just wait and see what happens?
That happened to me once - it went away in a day or so. I never did figure out what caused it.
OK. So I'll put this in the "go to the doctor if it doesn't go away, but ignore it for now" category. Which is good, because I don't think I have any time to go to a doctor before Thursday anyway.
Today I have 100 pages to read in the most depressing book ever.
My vote for that honor is McTeague, followed by Ethan Frome.
I saw a television show with a segment about crows. They showed a parking lot where motorcycles frequently parked. The crows had discovered that there was often food in the motorcycle saddlebags and they were opening them and checking for food. It was amazing.
Hil, I've had that happen just from allergies. I've had a couple of eye infections and with those the eye was painful and sensitive to light.
