I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Is your cold any better, Sail?

Normally Hubby is only awake enough in the mornings to mumble at me when I kiss him good-bye. This morning, though, he was awake enough to keep saying, "What are you doing? What was that noise?" I get dressed in the dark because the light wakes him up and the poor guy needs all the sleep he can get. Plus, turning on the lights turns on the cats, who then are all "What are we doing? Are we getting up?"

I hate suddenly having to explain my routine. "I'm putting on my shoes. Yes, I'm just sitting here for a minute. I'm thinking, OK? I'm thinking about what I'm going to have for lunch, OK?"

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It's not really any better, but it's moved into its next stage. It's lodged in my throat for now, so I'm doing my best not to cough. By tomorrow it will be into the chest and I'll be hacking the lungs out. I know how my colds go. I've got cough drops, TheraFlu and Comtrex to hand to subdue the worst of the symptoms. Still, they all leave me feeling woozy so I'm stuck at home being bored to death.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'd like some fast time, Lee. Can we trade? Days are moving very slowly indeed, though I'm still not getting everything done that I should be.

Also, I'd like to remember what it's like to wake up with my nose clear. Which has nothing to do with slow or fast. I'm just sick of waking up to sinuses as clogged as rush hour traffic.

Up with the sun

Susan, itchiness sucks. For some reason (possible TMI alert) the seam in the bra I'm wearing today is driving me nuts, and somehow not being able to scratch makes the itching worse.

And I'm in total agreement that it should have been Friday DAYS and DAYS ago. I wasn't even in the office Monday, and I still feel this week has been about a thousand years long.

Also, (((((Nora)))) and permission to wallow to Steph.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Plei has a new tag.

I think my mom just actually accepted my "It's not an issue now" argument for shutting the marriage talk up.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Morning or whatever. I have about an hour before I have to head in. It's nice having the extra time to sit around, but I'd rather get off 2 hours early since I was already ready for work on time.

Mostly lurking...

Ok...I've answered three questions on my take-home final. I can take a break now, right?

No, you say? I still have five more to go? Damn.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Susan, if it is eczema, I cannot recommend DermaSmoothers highly enough. It's prescription body oil, and it works wonders.
