We have Geico. It's real full name is Government Employee Insurance Company. Greg gets a discount. We've submitted two claims in two years. Last year and the year before, Greg got into fender benders where he was at fault. The insurance only went up with the second one, and with both of us insured, full coverage because we're still paying for the car, it's not that bad; not quite $700 a year, I think, though where you live has something to do with the rates too.
Timelies. Everyone's sick with some head bug. Despite being sick the babies are not being horrible. I think something's wrong with them.
Also, Polter, since you're a young, unmarried male, most insurance companies will think you've got dreams of being Dale Earnhart reborn and insure you accordingly. I'm not sure where the age cut-off is on that, 18 or 20, between when they figure you've learned you can die and start driving accordingly.
MA doesn't carry Geico (or Progressive I think).

Heh. that age is actually 25.
But you can counteract it a bit by being a student with good grades.
Where you live has a lot to do with how much you pay in car insurance. I pay a fortune, because Louisiana has no regulation. I had State Farm for years in California, but had to swirtch to a Louisiana office when I moved here, who hiked up my premiums and dropped me after I was in one accident (the first accident I was ever in). We have Progressive, now, and pay a couple hundred a month for the privilege - admittedly for full coverage on one relatively new car that isn't paid for, yet, and the minimum on a slightly older one.

I think it varies by company.
GEICO has been good to me. Other insurance companies have required me to send them photos of the old car I wanted to insure, or even have it inspected. GEICO didn't require anything like that for my '73 Mercury.

There's a biggish uproar here now because of how Baltimore city residents have to pay so much more for car insurance than anybody else in Maryland. I don't expect that will change anytime soon though. We do tend to have our cars broken into and/or stolen quite a bit here.
Timelies!
I have no auto insurance advice...I get discounts by going through the broker at my office.
Have skipped any other topics, so holler if I missed anything crucial.
