All of us overslept and missed church. We may try the 5:00 service.

The thumb is OK--I'm now back to typing with both hands, but showering is going to be interesting for a day or two. But given that when this happened, I was positive I'd have to go for stitches, and I can think of few more miserable ways to spend a Saturday night than as the least-injured and therefore lowest priority person in my friendly neighborhood ER, I'll take awkward left-handed showers.

Oh, and Daniel, I'd consider buying that dog BBQ sauce. Toto will sometimes go a couple of days without eating. If that would help him eat, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I've always found that a nice chicken pork or beef bouillon in 1/2 the water needed, poured over the dry food helped. Even the salt-free kind.

I just hope the sauce is edible for humans, because mistakes will be made. I doubt the taste will be palatable, but then I've known people who eat dog food.

I don't know what is going on with me right now, but my body hates anything close to it. I've gone to wearing jeans only when leaving the house for actual things, like school, socializing, etc. As soon as I get home, I'm back in my sweats or lounge pants. My waist just can't stand having anything even close to restrictive around it. Now my watch is starting to drive me nuts too. I'm wondering if my new medication is somehow activating me to be aggitated by these things, but it seems unlikely. It's just so weird. I've never experienced anything like this before.

So, yeah, because of that, I have people coming over today, and I look like I'm in my pjs. I'm wearing my lounge pants and a knit shirt...all I can put up with for an extended period of time. Oh, well...the Somervillains will still love me.

vw, the winter before I got pregnant, I went through a weird, OCD-ish sort of depression. We were on our way to a party with DH's co-workers and the sweater I was wearing started itching like crazy! I mean, so much so that I made DH pull into a strip mall so I could buy a new shirt to wear to the party (and we were already late for it). I think it was more the anxiety over the party than the sweater, because it was a comfy, cotton one that I used to wear all the time.

I went through a clothes reaction thing for a few days after that.

Oh, yeah, that's the other thing. I can't wear sweaters anymore. I have ONE, that's a zip-up cartigan that I can still wear, but all my winter sweaters that I love, can't deal with them at all. It's so weird. It could be an anxiety thing, though. You're right. My anxiety has been down, though, so...oh, who knows.

It could actually be a physical sensitivity, vw. Hopefully it will pass and you can slip back into the comfy sweaters.

VW, do you have PJ pants that can pass as regular pants?

My skin is very bitchy about things that are near it at the moment, and my PJ pants are about the only things I can wear for more than an hour or two without clawing them off. Thankfully, they're black and just look like loose casual pants.

Yeah. I have a pair of black and a pair of gray. I've been wearing them for pretty much everything but school and actual going out. I feel like a slob in them, but yeah, they're about all I can deal with. And, I feel like I'll start wearing them for school soon too. Being in jeans from 8:30am till 4:00pm just about does me in on school days, and that's just a silly thing to make myself crazy over.
