That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ah, I went through a bout of that a few years back. Not much fun at all.

Mostly lurking...

billytea, that sounds no good at all. I'm so sorry. Get thee to a doctor and feel better soon!

Timelies everyone! I'm up, even though I could sleep in more. I had to call the car rental company to see if I could do something about the major jump in rates we're getting for extending our contract. I have to talk to a manager, and she wasn't available. So, I left a nice long message for her. Hopefully she'll call back soon, 'cause I'm thinking of heading to the hot tub for a nice warm soak, since Emily's still sleeping and I don't want to wake her.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ow! See also "insult to injury". Sorry to hear about that.

Well, it's been going on for at least eighteen months, but it's been worsening lately.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yes, plantar fasciitis. I got some treatment in the US, but it was interrupted by coming home.

Yeah, it really sucks. I had it in my left foot for months and months and months, then it cleared up (wearing sneakers nonstop, stretching exercises) and now I have it in my right foot. UGH. I have to call the doctor, as well, because not only I can feel the PF running down the length of my foot but I also have extreme pain and tenderness (tender to the touch, which makes it different from PF, at least the PF I had previously) on the upper outside part of my foot.

BT, I am also sorry you have to deal with this on top of everything else.

Thanks for the words of advice yesterday regarding houses/mortgages and such. I am hoping to see where we can go with this.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

billytea has a new tag.

I did not know about this foot problem. It does not sound pleasant. Heal quickly so that you may chase kangaroos.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

What is plantar fascitis? I've heard about it before, but I don't know what it is other than a) it's foot-related and b) painful.

Also known as heel spurs. Basically, it's what happens when your Planta Fascia ( nerve running down the length of your foot) decides to curl up, contract, and basically make your life low grade miserable for 6-18 months.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

bt, I'm so sorry and I deeply sympathize on the foot pain. I think they make special socks that you can wear at night that stretch your tendons out. You want I see if I can find them, or has that already been looked at as an option?

Timelies.

PC, if you would be so kind as to pass by my tag changes, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
