Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

What is plantar fascitis? I've heard about it before, but I don't know what it is other than a) it's foot-related and b) painful.

Always Anti-fascist!

Still, I wish the universe would step off you, bt.

Also known as heel spurs. Basically, it's what happens when your Planta Fascia ( nerve running down the length of your foot) decides to curl up, contract, and basically make your life low grade miserable for 6-18 months.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

bt, I'm so sorry and I deeply sympathize on the foot pain. I think they make special socks that you can wear at night that stretch your tendons out. You want I see if I can find them, or has that already been looked at as an option?

Timelies.

PC, if you would be so kind as to pass by my tag changes, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

billytea, plantar fasciitis sucks.

Boy, was that helpful, or what? When I had it, I stretched a LOT. And that's about it. I didn't notice it speeding my recovery. Oh, and I bitched about it a lot, too. Which also didn't help.

Me too. Also wore sneakers non stop. Still doing so. I am convinved this new foot pain stems from the fact that I am wearing (still sturdy, flat and comfortable) waterproof shoes and boots, due to winter.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad you found housing, Billytea. J'm sorry your foot problems are getting worse.

What is even happening?

My mother had that plantar fasciitis. My sister-in-law had it while pregnant, as if pregnancy isn't fun enough. My sympathies. I know from them how terribly uncomfortable it can be.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, properly fitting shoes are a huge part of dealing with plantar's.
