And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel Bru--sh! Bru-ush! Shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel shovel.

And my glucose dropped down to lunch levels, even though I ate a breakfast a little over and hour ago that consisted of a whole cup of oatmeal and three pieces of banquet chicken. Of course, this was after fasting for 12 hours before lab tests at the clinic this morning, and then going to get paint from the recycle center, driving through the blizzard.

We only got 5-7 inches of snow, if that. I feel cheated.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy birthday WindSparrow!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WINDSPARROW!!

We only got 5-7 inches of snow, if that. I feel cheated.

But we may get more later tonight. Aren't you excited? Also, dude. Make sure your glucose levels are good. We don't want a passed-out Daniel.

I'm good at 123 for now. I may eat some Blue Bunney low-carb ice cream in honor of Actual F----g Snow in Minnesota for the first time this winter. Much better than the one inch of ice that still coats the ground underneath the snow.

ION? Had to use shovel because at 1 F, tiny snowblower didn't want to start.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Morning! (Whatever)

I slept in, AIFG!!!! We have absolutely no snow in Kansas City, which is A-OK with me, but the temp is dropping. It was a lovely 65 degrees on Thursday. (Of course, it was 3 degrees on Monday, so I'm not too shocked.)

Happy Birthday, WindSparrow!!!

I think I'm going to start some cover letters and applications for teaching jobs for a while, write on my novel, and then watch a movie.

Tomorrow will all be prepping for class next week.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy Birthday, Wind Sparrow!!

We got snow last night and it's snowing now. I was at the BF's last night, so I don't know how much snow I got by my house. It was about 6" by his. Right now, I'm at work. Blech.

And here too, it is snowing!! I was supposed to do four things today--brunch, a burlesque workshop, dinner with friends, and a show tonight.

Instead, I cancelled brunch, skipped the workshop (dunno if it was cancelled), the instigator of dinner cancelled, and I'm waiting to hear on the show. Frankly, I'm just as happy--I went out last night iwth some friends and we were telling ourselves "hey, we might not get to go out tomorrow night! Let's party!" :)

The snow is very pretty, falling. No idea how much there is yet.

I went to the grocery store last night, out in the burbs by work (usually less crowded than in the city) and damn, it was crazy. So I hope Hil managed to find food at hers. I snagged the next-to-last thing of milk that wasn't lactaid, at the store I was at!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My kitty wants desperately to crawl onto my lap/chest. Nevermind the laptop. Nevermind the glass of saline I have tipped over my belly button. She wants to snuggle and that is that. This has the makings of a disaster...

brillig

Bright sunny day in Utah. Inversion continues. What looks like a clear day is actually light to medium haze as the pollutants continue to be trapped in the valley.

Give us back our snow! Snow storms clean out the valleys and make our lungs stop burning!

Stoopid easterners, bogarting the snow. There are people in shorts on the streets of Utah.
