Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Cold process is my next project. Right now I'm all into making the melt and pour smell good -- and I've learned to make lotion bars, and I think I could even make something very similar to Lush's Buffy the Backside Slayer. I'm mulling it over.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm going to take a nap, hopefully I'll be awake before Daniel gets home from work so I can be cute in his general direction and participate in cybersnuggling. What? disappointed? You think just because I whitefont, it's all about the porn?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

F*ck. My friend has taken a turn for the worse, and they've kicked his wife out of the ICU waiting room; the doctors informed her that her hubby is going to be in the ICU for quite a while, and that she cannot live in the waiting room, no matter how much she wants to. Now their friends are organizing who is going to be with her at all times, who can prepare and drop off food for her on what days, and who can be the back-up people for the front-line supporters.

I feel so helpless. I'm waiting for email to tell me when/where/what I'm needed for.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Oh, shit, Jilli. Horrible. I'm so sorry.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, shit, Jilli. And I'm sorry the ICU staff are being such asshats. I don't see why the hell she can't live there if she wants to.

So very sorry at this turn for the worse.

What is even happening?

Jilli, I have been wanting to ask. I hope his news gets better. Holding a good thought for both of them.

Now their friends are organizing who is going to be with her at all times, who can prepare and drop off food for her on what days, and who can be the back-up people for the front-line supporters.

A woman in our church was in a horrible accident, we weren't sure she'd make it, and even once she stabilized, her condition was serious. A bunch of the women bought gift cards for her husband and daughter, for take out places that serve food-food (not fast food) and restaurants between their house and the hospital, so that they could stop for convenience, and not have to worry about the all the money spent. I don't know if that's something you could do for your friend.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, crap. I'm so angry with the universe on her behalf. I mean, is it too much to ask for it to just lay the hell off her for a while?
