Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I never have any idea how old people are -- if I'm thinking of them as my peers, I assume they are the same age as me, but that's about it.

I'm usually bad about ages too. But some people just have features that...don't. My cousin's wife looks an awful lot like you. She must be nearing 40 now. About all that aged her in the past decade at all was a really horrid recovery after emergency surgery, but she seems to be aging backwards now.

And then there is my officemate, who probably (I forget) is in his mid to late 40s, but I'd put him mid-thirties. And that's after knowing him. I guessed mid-20s when I first met him.

Of course, I say this after seeing pix of my parents in their early twenties through my age and they look like such BABIES.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How old are you, Jesse? 37?

I kid because .... because I'm a bitch.

I was asked yesterday how old I was -- by someone who assured me I'd already told her my age and she'd been shocked. I reminded her, and she was still shocked. So, in honesty, am I. It's blown by.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Older, I think. It's been a long time since cowboys roamed the plains.

I enjoy both the age I am, and the way I look. I sometimes feel that I would be taken more seriously if I were older. That's all, and actually may just be a me issue.

Oh, also, I don't know why Grandma Moses and Methusela over there are even TRYING to play.

I don't like being the age I am for one reason -- I should have done more, and it makes it apparentl I wasted time.

Which is totally an issue of mine.

Other than that? I have a hard time remembering my age, and have been wont to add a couple years on, come September.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I should have done more, and it makes it apparently I wasted time.

Nothing worse than an old slacker. You never did amount to much.
