I know two contracts ago, the very young peeps on the team were shocked that I was at least five years older than they were, but sans makeup and in normal clothes, I look my age. I think.

Funny thing isn't it? Of course, the times I look in the mirror are mostly at home, makeupfree and in grey sweats (as I am now, with my hair pulled back in obnoxious neon mini claws), putting makeup on, or making sure everything fits right in the minute before I leave the house.
My coworkers are always teasing me, acting shocked I'm turning 30 this year. But they've been giving me shit since I started here at 22 and was the baby on the team. It was a relief when I started being older than the interns, that's for sure. Then the grad students. Now the post docs.

Aw, thanks. My skin is generally good, it's true. Although lately, it's probably been the HUGE ZITS making me look young!
