You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Any good suggestions? I'll take toddler through early reader. I think my mom is making him a bookcase.
This book is like crack to Owen.

He also loves Maisy books and Elmo books.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear is good and Goodnight, Moon, as well.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

If I only had a brain...

I'm glad you got Sandra Boynton in there. We read and reread those, especially The Going To Bed Book.

The moon is high, the sea is deep, They rock
And rock
And rock
To sleep.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Amazon.com is showing lots of Dr. Seuss books in board-book form.

Friends who have kids LOVE the Baby Einstein stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's some crazy Pigeon wants to drive a bus book that Kat's fond of. But you know how she is.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The other major theory is that HOF voters prefer guys who racked up the stats over 15 years, and Rice sort of fell off a cliff suddenly.

That's one thing that surprised me about the results. Bruce Sutter was third in the voting, despite only playing 12 years. He was a very good pitcher, and has very good numbers, but I expected him to be behind Goose, and even Lee Smith (although I think he was better than Smith).

Heh. My mom HATED Dr. Seuss books. She said her eyes would glaze over. However, she swallowed her hate when she saw how much we liked them and how useful they could be. Mind you, she only admitted her hate last year. Cracked me up.

She also has all my Carle books and then went and bought them all for my nephew, so I couldn't even do that!

He likes Moo Baa La La La. He just likes La La La. It's his favorite part of Bobby McGhee. The La la la la la la la la la la la la Bobby McGhee...

And I'm a terrible singer, but I know the words.
