Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

He likes Moo Baa La La La. He just likes La La La. It's his favorite part of Bobby McGhee. The La la la la la la la la la la la la Bobby McGhee...

And I'm a terrible singer, but I know the words.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think Bread and Jam for Frances might be my favorite book, if you measure by how often I refer to it in conversation. Not sure why.

Nilly, you can have my brain for the next couple of weeks -- I won't be needing it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Allyson, Owen will stop crying to stare and smile at me when I sing, "Lalalalalala".

I have no idea why but it saves me from having to remember the words to any songs.

If I only had a brain...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat gave him the pigeon book, ita.

Figures. She's crafty.

I have fond memories of Peter Rabbit and Clifford the big red monster dog. And it's never too early for fairy tales and folklore from around the world, ever.

Oh, we had a book of (I think) a maori creation myth that was just gorgeous.

Wonder what happened to the lovely Beatrix Potter books I remember as being old fashioned.

Our wings are not tired

Allyson, Owen will stop crying to stare and smile at me when I sing, "Lalalalalala".

And my brain just goes right to Minnie Ripperton.
