Yeah, I've had one of those Radio Shack pre-amps for years.
Thanks. My current googling seems to indicate that very few USB audio input thingies have a phono pre-amp.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

So, no brain for loaning? I'm not looking for braaaaaaaains, I'm not even looking for brains. Just the one will probably be enough. And I'll take good care of it, and will return it right when I finished using it. How's that?
I think this post is a proof that it's time for me to go home and continue from there. Brainless. Helpless, hopeless, but, thankfully, not unemployed in Greenland.
[Edit: still here to appreciate, that 2*4=8]
Okay. My sister-in-law broke my heart and told me the only books my nephew has are the ones I buy him. Today I sent Hippos Go Berserk, Good Dog Carl, Pajama Time, Everyone Poops, and Barnyard Dance.
Any good suggestions? I'll take toddler through early reader. I think my mom is making him a bookcase.
You got one of my favorites, Everyone Poops.
It too old for him right now but I adore Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, Day.
Nilly you can have my brain - it is wasted here.
I'd probably put Rice in too, now that I think of it. The guy was an absolute monster hitter for a very long time. Also, an underrated outfielder (which will happen when you come up playing next to Fred Lynn and Dwight Evans).
Rice's main problem is that he wasn't particularly good with the media, and also that he wasn't Fred Lynn. He was the scariest hitter in the AL for a while.
Blyleven and Goose's percentages went up, so I think they've got a good shot next year, when there aren't any surefire first ballot picks. (Will the Thrill and Hershiser are probably the best of next year's class.)
Harold and the Purple Crayon!
It still makes me respond like this. The first book I ever loved.
Now going home. Really. Just finishing putting these simulations to run for the night, and then home.
[Edited to properly thank msbelle]
The Eric Carle books, board and otherwise. Also, Goodnight Moon. Pat the Bunny. I loved the Richard Scary books, but I have a friend who is creeped out by Goldbug and I'm not sure the age on those.
Any good suggestions? I'll take toddler through early reader.
The Dumb Bunnies (ages 4-8, so it's probably out of your range)
Stand Back, Said the Elephant, I'm Going to Sneeze (also ages 4-8)
nilly beat me to my favorite
