I'd probably put Rice in too, now that I think of it. The guy was an absolute monster hitter for a very long time. Also, an underrated outfielder (which will happen when you come up playing next to Fred Lynn and Dwight Evans).
Rice's main problem is that he wasn't particularly good with the media, and also that he wasn't Fred Lynn. He was the scariest hitter in the AL for a while.
Blyleven and Goose's percentages went up, so I think they've got a good shot next year, when there aren't any surefire first ballot picks. (Will the Thrill and Hershiser are probably the best of next year's class.)
