I think 4:00 would work fine. If people head down to Valencia by noon or 1pm, they should be able to explore and nibble and then scoot back for the vidding.

I'm not as optimistic. I'm doing Valencia and hoping to see the Vids but I don't have my heart set on the latter because I just think the Valencia trip is going to run long.

...so if a person were to have a Sony VAIO whose CD/DVD drive refused to play CDs, thus making it tragically impossible for her to upload any of her music collection onto her sexy little iRodney, where might she take said VAIO in San Francisco so that the nice tech heads could make it all better? I tend to think like Pete. I think JZ and I only spent about two hours on Valencia, but we skipped some stores, and we were moving a whole lot faster than a big group would.

Fay, you'll have all Thursday to wander about the City; I'm going to be on hyperactive airport duty most of the day, and the morning is dedicated to getting the HP set up.

OK, here's my "non-obvious" (stuff that I might forget) checklist of stuff to bring - stuff that's not clothes, toiletries, etc. Also includes very important stuff to double-check.

  • camera
  • media/film for camera
  • camera charger/charging cradle and/or batteries
  • USB cable (make sure it has the right connector for your camera)
  • media cable (to connect camera to TV, etc)
  • cellphone
  • cellphone charger
  • list of contact #s - Buffistas, sitters, etc.
  • iPod, CD player, etc.
  • earphones
  • charger, cable for iPod, etc.
  • laptop
  • laptop charger
  • laptop AV cable (for TV)
  • other laptop accessories (WiFi card, etc)
  • watch
  • wallet
  • credit cards - especially if you need a specific card to get an eticket
  • CDs, DVDs, tapes, iPod playlists
  • tickets and/or airline, hotel confirmation #s
  • prescriptions (make sure you have enough)
  • earplugs

Anything else?
