Jayne: Well... I don't like the idea of someone hearin' what I'm thinkin'. Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think 4:00 would work fine. If people head down to Valencia by noon or 1pm, they should be able to explore and nibble and then scoot back for the vidding.

I'm not as optimistic. I'm doing Valencia and hoping to see the Vids but I don't have my heart set on the latter because I just think the Valencia trip is going to run long.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

...so if a person were to have a Sony VAIO whose CD/DVD drive refused to play CDs, thus making it tragically impossible for her to upload any of her music collection onto her sexy little iRodney, where might she take said VAIO in San Francisco so that the nice tech heads could make it all better? Huh? Huh?

flutters eyelashes hopefully

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I tend to think like Pete. I think JZ and I only spent about two hours on Valencia, but we skipped some stores, and we were moving a whole lot faster than a big group would.

Crap.

Maybe I'll try and hit Valencia on Thursday...

(REALLY want to see all the viddage.)

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Fay, you'll have all Thursday to wander about the City; I'm going to be on hyperactive airport duty most of the day, and the morning is dedicated to getting the HP set up.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

  • media cable (to connect camera to TV, etc)
  • cellphone
  • cellphone charger
  • list of contact #s - Buffistas, sitters, etc.
  • iPod, CD player, etc.
  • earphones
  • charger, cable for iPod, etc.
  • laptop
  • laptop charger
  • laptop AV cable (for TV)
  • other laptop accessories (WiFi card, etc)

Anything else?

There will also be the master list up in the HS, and I can always print out copies if needed.

I add noise-reducing headphones for long journeys on planes and things!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And now for something completely different, my August/September visit: I've booked my flights across the Pacific. I am scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 17 at 10:12 am, and will be leaving the country on Monday, September 4. All booked through frequent flyer miles, and First Class baybee! (I racked up a lot of miles in America.) I actually wanted to depart on the 6th, and apparently I can change my flight dates, so if anything opens up, the departure date may change.
