Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Okay, I've been examining the BART maps, and it does not seem to go all the way down to San Jose, where we'll be staying that weekend. I'm not entirely sure how we're going to be getting up to the party Saturday night, or back down to San Jose, either.

I know there's a 511.org website, but I don't know my sister's exact address, so I don't have enough information to make that site useful at this particular moment.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sean, you'd take CalTrain to BART, or directly up to the city. There's probably also some bus route, but I think most people would just take CalTrain up to the city from SJ.

CalTrain's relatively cheap and runs regularly. I'll try to dig up some info for you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The only problem with Caltrain is that it doesn't run that late. The last train on Saturdays leaves SF 12:01.

CalTrain schedules from San Jose to San Francisco

These are just local commuter trains, Sean, not Amtrak.

The solution is clearly that Sean and GF will simply party all night and take the morning train.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

"My baby takes the morning train..."

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Deb, coincidentally enough Laura just called to confirm that we would have a dvd player in the hospitality suite. To which I said "Yes!"

Um, so do people have a consensus on when they want the vid show to start? I was thinking 3 or 4 o'clock, but of course it would be good to have a better sense of it than that.

Also, I can't speak highly enough of Scooby Road. Anyone who can find their way to do so should watch this thing: it's the ultimate fan love-letter to the show. If you can't make it to the vid show, Lum does periodically post the separate vids online, but the experience of watching it all together in the same place with other Buffy fans was the highlight of Vividcon last summer.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I want to come to the vidding!

I also want to come to the Valencia business.

And possibly dim-sum.

This is possible, no?

Do you know how long the show will run, Consuela? Finishing by about 6:00 seems right to me.
