Deb, I sent you my phone number a couple of weeks back, but I don't see my name on that list. I've also sent you a few other emails with my arrival info and my RSVP for the BBQ; now I'm concerned that they haven't gone through. Can you tell me what information you still need from me? Thanks.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
Kate, you're there - when I read the phone list though, your name was right at the bottom line and my damned Word config jumps three lines when I hit "page down". Must get Nic to fix that.
So yep, I got yours, accommodations and everything, and you're there. No worries.
Okay, it's official. S and I will be in San Jose for the weekend of the F2F, so one way or another, we'd like to find a moment to see some folks.
However, we are absolutely piss-poor broke right now, and a little concerned about June rent, so we can't really afford to attend prom. We're not even sure how we'll get into the city yet.
So, we may just stop by long enough to say hi to people, possibly Saturday night, or we may try and hit the BBQ, but that means we'll miss some folks. Mostly our schedule is up in the air, but we'll figure things out by then, and hopefully see some people.
I don't want to speak for the group, but I don't personally view the Prom as a pay-to-play event. The $41pp (or whatever) is NOT a ticket price.
I agree with Jessica.
I'm with Jessica. What's the point of Prom Fairies if their contributions aren't put to good use? I contributed money last year despite not being able to be there and it was meant to ensure everyone had a good time.
What they said. Especially this:

Me, too.
Totally. We fully expect to see you and S at prom, young man.

Speaking as the one what is holding the purse right now, I totally agree. Seanie, you had BEST get you & your girl to Prom.
If you can donate, cool. If not, cool. It's a party, doll - that's it.
Um, Sean, why is this even an issue? Of course you're coming to the damned prom.
I mean, DUH, dude.
Are you guys coming to the BBQ Sunday?
