What they said. Especially this:
What's the point of Prom Fairies if their contributions aren't put to good use? I contributed money last year despite not being able to be there and it was meant to ensure everyone had a good time.
Me, too.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Totally. We fully expect to see you and S at prom, young man.
I don't want to speak for the group, but I don't personally view the Prom as a pay-to-play event. The $41pp (or whatever) is NOT a ticket price.
Speaking as the one what is holding the purse right now, I totally agree. Seanie, you had BEST get you & your girl to Prom.
If you can donate, cool. If not, cool. It's a party, doll - that's it.
Um, Sean, why is this even an issue? Of course you're coming to the damned prom.
I mean, DUH, dude.
Are you guys coming to the BBQ Sunday?
Oh, I gots ta' send money....
juliana, I can PayPall you at your profile addy, right?
My invisible internet friends are too cool for school.

You can indeed.

Well, the real purpose of our trip is to spend time with mom, sis and nephew down in SJ, so I think it will probably be a one or the other thing, much as I'd like it to be otherwise.
Then you're definitely coming to Prom. Deal with it, little brother.
What they said. Fuck it, man - get your collective asses to the prom.
You SHALL go to the ball.
