Fried cheese curds!
That's all I got.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Fried cheese curds!
Mmmmm.
Vortex, I left you a voice mail.
Fried cheese curds!
Those sound really yummy!
My favorite treat when I pass through Milwaukee is to stop at Kopp's Frozen Custard. Every day they have 2 special flavors that are sometimes specialty flavors (like tiramisu or cherry amaretto cheescake). (They have really awesome hamburgers, too).
Had a lovely dinner and stroll with SailAweigh last night.
So very jealous of Vortex & Sail. Want to meet Vortex and missing long car drives and chats with Sail!!
Kopp's Frozen Custard
Oh, yum! Sail, make up the couch. I'm on my way out so you can take me to get some custard.

oh, I'll check it.
Fried cheese curds! Never heard of them. When I go to upstate New York on vacations I always consume lots of cheese curds because we don't have them here in Florida. Oh my, they must be wonderful fried. Added to my list of things to find and try.
I loooove Kopps (memories of college float through my brain...). Now I'm craving frozen custard, which has finally started to make an appearance in the Chicago area. Must find some this weekend!

Come visit me, especially during State Fair time. Yummy fried things galore.
Actually, the best booth at the Fair for me is the roasted corn booth, followed closely by the salt-water taffy booth. Yummy.
I looked into the shipping option, but you have to buy 10 pints ($75) plus pay the overnight shipping charge ($35 to Grand Rapids). I'm really not looking to pay $110 just for some frozen custard.
(I am kind of pissed off at myself, though, because the last two times I was in town I ran out of time to get some and now that I'm planning on moving I'm kicking myself. I might just have to make a trip to WI to visit Kopps family before I leave.)

I have always loved funnel cakes (different from elephant ears, people!) either of the two ways - powdered sugar or supreme (ice cream, hot fudge, sprinkles, a cherry on top) Yum!
Crap, now I'm hungry and I'm stuck in the office.
(hates fried food)
(backing away from thought of fried cheese curds at warp eleven)
(wants warm sourdough bread with cracked crab salad in garlic and lemon dressing)
