As you look at the food/drink options, don't worry about the money issues. I'll figure that out. For now, just post 1-2 things you'd love to have and note if there's anything you absolutely won't eat.
Thanks!
Also, thank you for posting that, Laura.
We are now at $1680.00 on our total cash.
On the food front, I'd probably choose mini quiches and kebobs if forced to pick two, but everything looks yummy and I'll be happy to go along with whatever. My only food concern would be if the crab claws are served still in the shell - that could be a bit difficult if we're talking cocktail party-style gathering rather than a sit-down dinner with tables.
Crab claws are usually served with the pincher part on, with the part just above that unshelled. They are soooooo yummy.
Oh Yummy!!! Everything looks good. I don't think we need to have a carving station with a carver and a big hunk 'o meat, IMO. A selection of finger foods sound better to me.
I'm big time allergic to onion, but as long as I know it is in something I can avoid it. Since the rest of the world loves the stuff I am used to dealing.
If I had to pick two I like the sound of the Assortment of Bouchees and the Tips of Belgian Endive.
But really, it all sounds good...
Speaking of Weremonkeyfest - I will be driving to it from Chicago in the Comfy Car so if anyone wants a ride, let me know.
I'd be interested, tommyrot.
I have a feeling Weremonkeyfest is going to be larger than the F2F.
Sigh.
I have that same feeling, and that same sigh.
I guess it was just time for family committments/jobs/money woes to torpedo a lot of folks' attendance plans. Truth to tell, the last should be knocking me out of the running too if I were being fiscally responsible, but I pimped for New Orleans too hard to back out of going. (Plus, only vacation of any length I have planned for the year, so vitally important to my plans for avoiding a spectacle involving clock towers...)
