[NAFDA] The place for casting and other vague spoilers, for those who merely want to wade, not drown, in the spoiler sea. Episode titles, writers, and preview speculation in black font. Damn. Spot on.
Beyond that, what’s exciting is the opportunity to introduce some of the other TV cast into the Marvel Universe proper, creating “Marvel Universe” versions of Mae, Fitz, Simmons, and the others. And in terms of guest-stars, the sky’s the limit, but we’ve already figured out stories
Mae? I had to go check IMDB to make sure we hadn't been wrong all this time.
The picture with her and Storm (well, and some others) made me squee, even though I probably won't be buying anything.
Liam McIntyre is going to be on The Flash as the Weather Wizard: [link]
How many Spartacus alums has it been now on Arrow/The Flash? Five, Six?
Eeeeee! He seemed like the sweetest guy at Dragoncon.
Him, Manu Bennett, the guy who played Ashur (Boomerang guy), the woman who played Mira (Nyssa), the woman who played Naevia (Amanda Waller)...
Edward James Olmos on S.H.I.E.L.D.
Richard Armitage on
Hannibal.
John Rhys-Davies cast on
Shannara
(which is being produced by MTV).
Also: Llucy Lawless and Stuart Townsend on season 2 of
Salem.
I cannot believe that
Salem
gets a season 2. I just couldn't watch it and I wanted too because of Seth Gabel (and Shane West - but mostly Seth Gabel).
David Tennant on Marvel/Netflix's upcoming Jessica Jones as, if you're familiar with the comics, the title character's
rapist
.
Is that the character with the storyline where
he gets her pregnant, the baby which is him grows up real fast, and they hook up?
No, thankfully, that was Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel and then Captain Marvel. That's a storyline that everyone, including Marvel Comics, would prefer to forget.
The Jessica Jones storyline was written sensitively by Brian Michael Bendis, laying out exactly the cause of her PTSD. Still, it's going to be weird seeing Tennant playing a character that dark.
I saw Secret Smile, so not so weird for me after that role of his.
