This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've seen a pic somewhere.

The zap2it article contains some plot spoilage regarding the whited out charcter above.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Doctor Who casting confirmations from the BBC:

Camille Coduri returns as Rose’s mum Jackie and Noel Clarke as Mickey. Penelope Wilton returns as Harriet Jones in the Christmas Special. Anthony Head (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Little Britain) and Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly, Saturday Night Fever The Musical) are now confirmed to star in series two. Elisabeth Sladen resumes her role as the iconic character Sarah Jane Smith; remembered by a whole generation of Doctor Who fans as the assistant to both Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker.

That last has me doing cartwheels even though it'll be years til I can see it.

Also, first look at the new Doctor in costume: [link]

I actually thought "Hannibal King!" when I first saw the picture.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

The Kryptonsite spoilage on that whited-out character reads extremely gay.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

That last has me doing cartwheels even though it'll be years til I can see it.

Matt, I just decided not to post a long and really boring LJ entry on my reaction to the casting spoilers, in particular the last, because it had digressed into My Long Standing Opinions on the Various Doctors. However, the reaction in short was "Bounce. Bounce. SQUEE!"

I'm scared: Tom Welling is going to do some directing.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Well, we don't know that TW is a bad director, just an actor who seems to have certain limitations. Maybe he'll turn out to be fab. Or maybe he'll just direct the episode where Lana dies in a freak rollerblading accident. Either way, I'd be all kindsa happy.

If TW was honest about not seeing any slashy subtext, I mourn his lack of nuance-perception.
