“Not dead yet!”

I wonder who the next companion will be,

I saw an article today that sent a genuine shiver of fear down my spine. [link]

I mean, really? Lily Allen? ugh.

As far as Matt Smith's age goes, geek that I am, I went and checked the ages of the other Doctors when they began the role. Yeah, he's the youngest, but Peter Davison was only thirty when he took over the role, which isn't an appreciably huge difference, all things considered. Geek that I am, I also find it an interesting parallel that he took over from Baker, the most popular Doctor to date at that point.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm always amazed that Catherine Zeta Jones end up on every single one of these lists.

“Not dead yet!”

Somebody's got a hard on for her, that's for sure.

Well, having seen "Chicago," I can understand. But the odds of a star that big taking a regular part on a show like "Doctor Who," let alone taking second billing, are terribly unlikely. (That doesn't count one-off stuff, like Kylie Monogue's turn in the Christmas special.) She must have once mentioned something about loving the show or something, though, because people keep bringing her name up.

I suspect, however, they're not going to cast anyone who'll upstage their shiny, new, virtually-unknown Doctor.

I still think that at least for a time, Sarah Jane would rock as a companion. I think it would create such an interesting dynamic while he gets his feet wet, as it were.

It'll never happen, but it would be fun.

Compassionately intolerant

I dunno. Given 10's brokenness after the loss of Donna, I can see him wandering alone for a bit, contemplating his own demise and then calling on Sarah Jame to orient the new guy. That makes a lot of sense in my head.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

that actor reminds them of Tom Baker.

cool. #9 sometimes reminds me of Tom Baker. So does #10 occasionally. Maybe that's 'cause Baker was my doctor.

I do find the hair a bit startling.

That's my high school boyfriend's hairdo.

Hairwise, totally.
