Well, having seen "Chicago," I can understand. But the odds of a star that big taking a regular part on a show like "Doctor Who," let alone taking second billing, are terribly unlikely. (That doesn't count one-off stuff, like Kylie Monogue's turn in the Christmas special.) She must have once mentioned something about loving the show or something, though, because people keep bringing her name up.
I suspect, however, they're not going to cast anyone who'll upstage their shiny, new, virtually-unknown Doctor.
I still think that at least for a time, Sarah Jane would rock as a companion. I think it would create such an interesting dynamic while he gets his feet wet, as it were.
It'll never happen, but it would be fun.

that actor reminds them of Tom Baker.
cool. #9 sometimes reminds me of Tom Baker. So does #10 occasionally. Maybe that's 'cause Baker was my doctor.
I do find the hair a bit startling.
That's my high school boyfriend's hairdo.

Awesome. Of course, now whenever The Doctor appears, I'll have to resist the urge to break into "Wild Boooooyssss ... never lose it ... wild booooys ... never chose this way ..."
It's all VERY distracting.

And I'll have to resist the urge to picture Victor breaking into "Wild Boooooyssss ... never lose it ... wild booooys ... never chose this way ..." every time The Doctor appears.
Talk about distracting.
