I like her and think that she is getting totally unfair treatment over a straightforward remark that was only taken as bitchy because it was a slow news day.

re: sumi's post about heroes...
here's hoping the new character actually has a NAME.
You mean the character?
Tamara - I hate that GA character - I think that they ruined her and I don't think that they had anyway to make her what she was so if she goes, I won't be unhappy.
I think it is still fixable, sumi, but I get where you are coming from.
I stopped watching GA. The Gizzy romance was too much for me. The final straw. I couldn't bear it, I didn't see any logic behind it, they had friend chemistry not lover chemistry so it wasn't believable. It might have been different if this were a 1-2 ep fling, but this TOOK OVER the whole show (as near as I can tell from watching from afar).
I think Heigl is a good actress generally, but after she powerfully lost her shit over Denny, I can't believe the writers decided to set her up with George so soon.
Exactly - they ruined her character by having her fall in love with George immediately after Denny dies and it is immediately because the crazy timeline of GA is so slow - i.e., I believe that the first 3 seasons are one year.
And you guys are proving my point, why would Heigl submit her name for emmy consideration when her storyline was ridiculous? She did the right thing.
I'm not against her - I'm against her character - I think Heigl would be better served moving on to other things.
Got it.
I'm with sumi, but I think Heigl's statement about the Emmy could have been better thought out. I think she should have just let it ride to see if she would have received a nom. I think it wasn't at all likely.
