Okay, I feel like I missed an important class in college: who's Rambaldi?
It's an Alias thing, Teppy. He had all these prophecies, and the first couple seasons were spent searching for Rambaldi artifacts. He is like the Emperor MacGuffin.

Tep, the burned part comes in with the fact that it seemed like there was this very cool, overreaching arc being built...and it all kind of fizzled into a hand wave hand wave thing that made many of us suspect that they never really had a clue where they were going with it in the first place.

Sean and I are obviously HGTTG junkies. I can't even see the number 42 without instantly thinking that.

They were, but they reneged. He's back. (But thankfully in such a way that Sydney is as sick of him as the audience is, and not shy about making it known.)
There have been Rambaldi references in the past couple of weeks. . . but then they've also brought back Sark and Anna Espinoza.
