what was Jin yelling at Michael during their fight?
After the gibberish speech and the long look at Sun, Jin said, "You don't believe me either?"
Then, "It was not me! Not me! I didn't set the fire, don't you understand?" Then Michael punched him! (wahh!)
After that, "By the time I got there, it was already burning!" *punch* "My hands got to this state because I was trying to
put out the fire."
Then Sun screamed, "Stop it! Leave him alone!"
Sniff. Poor Jin. Also, Daniel Dae Kim was hot like a hot thing, even with blood all over his face. (Or was it *because* he had blood all over his face? Can't tell. Been around here too long.)
okay, thanks for that.
so that is why Sun said what she did.
Thanks so much, Vonnie. I don't know why I'm impressed that the Korean makes sense, but I am.
I just wish my brain had been capable of learning more than one language. Thank you Vonnie!
Dying of laughter over the discman running out of juice during the closing montage.
It was funny. But I could have sworn someone here called it the first or second time they did the montage thing.
I wonder what's up with Hurley -- did it look like there were military men around him? Or maybe police?
All I remember seeing is Hurley waving to the camera, then climbing into a car.
It makes me sad for Hurley, though.
I don't think Walt could have set a very effective fire without supernatural help. (Also, I thought it was him from the start.)
I keep having thoughts along the lines of "These people are on the island together because, between them, they have everything each of them need to heal" I'm sure there's more than that, though
This is definitely "work out your issues Island."
Dude. I totally called it being Walt who set the fire. Something about the way he reacted to Michael's saying he was going to build a new raft. Also Locke's speech was too dramatic - all the arm-waving, like "look over here!"
That ep was kickass. Not as good as last week but easily as good as House of the Rising Sun. Agree about DDK being a great actor - even though I didn't want to feel sorry for Jin, when he looked at the little girl crying after he beat up her dad, I couldn't help myself.
My biggest beef with Jin as a character is why didn't he run off with Sun when he had the chance? Surely he knew her father was going to ruin their life? Of course, it's easy for me to say in retrospect.
Also, if Jin really doesn't understand English, how the hell did he understand it when Sun said, "I was going to leave you" etc. in English??
Also, LordoftheFlies!Sawyer? Hottt.
ETA PS heeeee:
[Jin] says they'll have the honeymoon they dreamed of. You know, the one on a deserted island inhabited only by polar bears and bloodthirsty nutjobs and scantily clad whiners. SIGN ME UP.
I don't think he did understand Sun. I think that's why she said it in English.
