Josh Holloway would make a perfect Jack Horner.
And DM could be Boy Blue.
Ha! Oh my God, you guys are so right.
Dude. Hurley on Korean TV. WTF? Can't wait till next week to find out!
And I
told
you guys Walt liked it on the island, or else he would have wished them off by now!
I liked that. Jin's story was somewhat predictable, but DDK acted the hell out of his scenes and made me really feel for him.
Right on. Like Jack's second flashback story, it was mostly stuff we'd inferred already (although we thought he was actually a stone-cold killer rather than a beater-upper), but seeing the scenes really added another layer.
Also, when Jin said, "It's too late," I yelled, "What the fuck? Did you learn
nothing
from your flashback?"
What Vonnie said.
Jin's Dad was a lox, according to the local translator.
What Vonnie said.
That's my line, you goon.
cause i'd love to know what was on the tv when Hurley appeared.
The letters on TV were unfortunately too far and blurry for me to read, even with pause function on my TiVo. There was a news-type narration on TV though--Hurley was definitely Hurley, and not playing a role on a TV show or some such. The narration on TV kind of weaved in and out behind the ongoing conversation in the foreground, making it difficult for me to understand. The little bits I caught: "Hugo Reyes," "Los Angeles," "manager," "... been living an ordinary life so far," "everything will change, as if in a dream". And I am really not sure about this one because the pronunciation was a bit iffy, but I think I heard the word (will white-font it as it may be a spoiler for next week if true)
lottery.
Innnnteresting.
I bet someone at TwoP already has a more complete translation of the footage though.
Vonnie! thank you! hmmm...guess i'll have to apologize to a 'lage poster. i was poo poo-ing her theory about the lottery winning. oh well...not the first time i've been wrong. heh.
Oh, someone in the LJ threads mentioned something that should have been a duh to me. I figured Walt set the fire himself, but he could just as well have DONE IT WITH HIS MIND LIKE DREW BARRYMORE.
I was thinking Walt set the raft on fire physically and Jin saw Walt near or running away from the raft and that's why he didn't say anything.
actually, what was Jin yelling at Michael during their fight? I think Jin did say something, but not in English.

vonnie, did you catch what he said?
