I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

He really should give up the whole killing thing - it's not working for him at all.

Maybe that's why he didn't try it on the boar. He could sense the boar thinking at him "Go ahead and try. You know you'll miss and I'll still be able to gore you in the thigh and Kate will leave you to bleed to death because you imperilled my offspring. Make my day."

information libertarian

Sawyer - really not all that bright. I don't think he's hot, either, so he sort of wastes my time.

Kate, now - Kate could skew my Kinsey.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

there'd be more meat if little piggy growed up

That’s what they should have done with him – kept little piggy as a pet! To grow up all tame and shit and then they can have the Charlotte’s Web dilemma and end up keeling him for the food.

And his backstory hasn't shown him to be the kind of long-range planner that would want to manipulate the other survivors into making him King of the Island -- he's just not that kind of thinker.

Again with the Spike comparison.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I like the fact that, not only is he a murderer, he's an incompetent murderer.

Sawyer had been hunting the real Sawyer for years. If he knew Hibbs (?) rep I want to know why he just trusted the information that was given to him. Even if he didn't want to really check the info, I would at least check up on Hibbs' motives for handing that info over, especially because Sawyer doesn't seem like the person to trust anyone easily.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

But people do odd things when they are close to a goal. I knew a woman in Boston who was hunting for her biological dad and she became convinced one guy was him because someone told her they heard he might have known her mom, plus when she drove by his house she realized she had dreamed about the house. This is a rational woman who had done years of research and pulling county files and all of that. I think she just wanted it to be true so badly so she could stop looking.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Sawyer killed Mr. Katimski!

hee! i yelled "Mr. Katimski!" when i saw him. i totally should have caught on that Frank wasn't the ladies man/con man that Hibbs had tried to convince Sawyer he was. i didn't get that it was a set-up until just before he shot him.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was concerned for a while about the TwoP recaps, but Daniel seems to be shaping up a bit. His initial recaplet made me laugh for the first time:

Also, Kate continues to woo Jack, lest she be forced to survive on a desert island with only one man panting after her.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

OMG, was it Katimski? I was so very certain at first, and then I got all doubtful and second-guessy about it when I saw him in a different light. I spent the whole episode desperately wanting him to wave his hands vaguely and say, "Oh, Enrique, that's just... oh... well, my gosh!" Just to settle the question once and for all.

(Because, you know, God forbid I go onto something like an official show site and check the name or anything sensible like that.)

If it was indeed Katimski, then Sawyer is SO UNREDEEMED. That one moment of anguish at the dumpster doesn't even begin to cover it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

You know, I still can't stand Sawyer and after the murder, I think I'm disliking him even more.

In contrast, I still very much like Jack. He acts like an asshole every now and then, but if I were stuck on an island with Sawyer, I think I'd be ticked with him too. Sayid barely tolerates Sawyer and Sayid is my boyfriend.
