It's horribly disgustingly humid, but if it's over 80 degrees, the wet jeans thing actually works.

I've never been comfortable in wet jeans, but it strikes me as easier to film, and one doesn't have to waste time on Kate being irritated or freaked out, when the point is to find the submerged couple and have light UST.
It's weird, then, that the ABC diary for Lost had the two of them snuggling weeks ago.
What was the title of this episode? It felt almost like a season opener: lots of setup, very little payoff. I was kind of let down by the revelation of what was in the case--I rather hope it turns out that there was something else in the safety-deposit box. I bought that she was genuinely upset and whacked out over it, but I wanted something more. (Though it's cool and nicely creepy that it was a toy airplane.) Also, Kate, sweetie, if you wanted the case that badly, why did you give it to Sawyer in the first place??? But I liked Jack's interactions with her in this ep, how he had her number from the first--and now, he's got the guns, too. And I was pleased to see more of Kate's stone-killer past.
Loved Shannon singing "Beyond the Sea", hated the potential for Shannon/Sayid. And I actually like Shannon's character, but I think a relationship between them would be too contrived.
And I thought Boone was right.
About what? Shannon's being useless?
CHARLIE, JE T'ADORE! And I really liked his scene with Rose at the end, especially because it ties in nicely with what we saw of his past (e.g. going to confession) in "The Moth".
The timing of the rising tide was indeed eerie.
I can't help but wonder if Boone's sense of worth depends heavily on Shannon playing the role of the incompetent, lesser sibling.
Ooh, Anne, I think you're onto something here. It would explain a lot about both characters.
I grump because I love.
Me too.
What was the title of this episode?
"Whatever The Case May Be"

this bugged us too. He didn't see it down there. Why not leave it and retrieve it when Sawyer's not around?
About what? Shannon's being useless?
Yes, and wilfully so.
From the recap:
This was a mistake," says Sayid. Like, dude. Take a break or something. Shannon retorts, "Haven't you heard? I'M COMPLETELY USELESS!" And then she storms off to her room to cry into her pink satin pillow and play Evanescence really loud, or something.
Hee.
"Whatever The Case May Be"
Snerk. This just got an audible snort out of me.
