I just can't get past the fact that they're trapped on an island, fighting for their lives, and there's time for a bikini wax. I can't suspend that much disbelief. I gave it all to the t-rex and the fact that anyone survived at all. I have none left to give to the brazillian bikini wax in between foraging for fruit and fighting off the shits.

Besides, how much fighting for their lives is there to do? Shannon may be a whiny wastrel, but when there's no crisis, it must be really boring.
I'm thinking a bunch of people who know jack shit about hunting/gathering for their daily bread probably spend the better part of their day worrying about food.
And with the sudden diet change of mostly fruit, they all have the shits and aren't feeling so pretty and have sore asses.
