And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

After two weeks on a remote tropical island with no tv/internet/radio/newspapers/immunity challenges, I think golf would start to look pretty good.

Up with the sun

What Jessica said. I wouldn't make an effort to watch a golf game, but if it was watch a golf game or sit on the beach for the five thousandth hour, I'd pick the golf.

And this was my favorite episode so far.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Why am I not taping these? Why do I not have TIVO?

I am sad.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I can think of many many things I would rather do than play golf, even on a deserted tropical island. There has not yet been a single instance of tree-climbing for the sake of throwing things (coconuts, bananas) at innocent passers-by, for instance.

Because books.

lexine is me. Except I'm not taping because the frickin' frackin' VCR is broken.

Michael's "duh" moment with regard to the golf game was so blatant, as everyone else has said. But I'm not sure Locke is going to be all evil mastermind yet, so maybe Walt is okay with him. For now. Although learning to throw knives is definitely not an elementary-school-age appropriate activity.

Crazy!Danielle was crazy in a sad way, I thought. I wonder if she ever had to pull one of her own teeth. Very interested in who Alex is, and wondering if something else frightening is going to happen to Sayid now. Next week looks scary, and I've missed Claire. Plus, more Charlie!

And I clearly need to start reading cleolinda's recaps because what everyone posts of them here are hilarious. Also, I cannot keep up with this thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, supposing he doesn't get eaten and/or Locke-d, how pissed is Sayid going to be to get back and find them all golfing?

Art Crawl!!!

Yes! I kept waiting for him to appear while the golfing was happening and just be disgusted with them all.
