Michael's "duh" moment with regard to the golf game was so blatant, as everyone else has said. But I'm not sure Locke is going to be all evil mastermind yet, so maybe Walt is okay with him. For now. Although learning to throw knives is definitely not an elementary-school-age appropriate activity.

Yes! I kept waiting for him to appear while the golfing was happening and just be disgusted with them all.

Hee. The whole golfing thing cracked me up. It's so true of human nature. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, indeed.
Well, he also cut the grass somehow. I mean, it was longish, but it wasn't long enough to be wilderness.
It could be naturally short, I've run into open medows in the middle of woods in Northern Minnesota that just had shorter varieties of grass.
Or maybe they have blinvisible sheep....

That Yahtzee fic I posted a link to earlier has so corrupted me. Previously if I took note of Boone at all it was to roll my eyes and wonder what he was going to be wrong about this time. But last night I paid attention and was cracking up over the way he was all "Did you hear that Jack's playing golf? I have to go watch that RIGHT NOW! Because who wouldn't want to walk a couple miles through the jungle to watch Jack play the most exciting spectator sport EVER? Did I mention it's JACK?!?" [Pees himself in his enthusiasm]
Actually, I kept expecting Sayid to be walking along and a golf ball land at his feet.
This would be followed by the sight of the golfers and entourage picking their way through the jungle looking for the ball someone hooked...
