When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd like it to be Adrian Lester or Paul Bettany

There's something strange in my head saying "No! Bettany can't be Bond! He needs dark hair!"

But I shan't listen to it. Besides, I have Bettany research to do before I can opine on his non-romantic side.

Life is rough.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Basically you want Alexis D.

I just went to a very happy place.

Any more on the rumors that they're considering Colin Salmon?

Gangster number 1. The coldest and hardest british crime flick of the '90s. I guarantee that, after that, you won't doubt Bettany's toughness.

Oh, and in case anyone - especially ita - missed it, here's the most frightening image from the Oscars:

the razor is your friend, Vin.

Heh. I just read back to see that Robin has already mentioned Gangster no 1. It's a good twofer with Vera Drake, as Bettany horribly slaughters at least 2 members of the VD cast.

It's on my Netflix queue. I can't wait.

As for Vin -- it'll be interesting to see him playing something biographical, with no action.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

the razor is your friend, Vin.

Huh. In that picture, he sort of reminded me of Jerry Orbach. Can't say why, though.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

NYT Movies page has a little side feature showing a slide show of various actors who were featured in films this year--the pictures are black and white and some of them are really beautifully shot. I particularly liked the photos of Kate Winslet, Clive Owen and the Joan Cusack.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

If that's the same spread that was in the magazine last weekend my favorite is Javier Bardem.
