Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I repeat, Carrey.

The people who seem to be most capable of opening a movie separate from their franchise - or making a franchise of their own, would be Hanks and Cruise.

And Julia Roberts has famously been the only female star in Hollywood for a while now.

It really is a very short list.

And Julia Roberts has famously been the only female star in Hollywood for a while now.

Poor Meg.

Meg has the Mary Pickford problem: people loved her for being cute and sweet and eventually she got tired of being cute and sweet but it was too late.

eventually she got tired of being cute and sweet but it was too late.

Plus she joined the ranks of the Hideous Creatures That Came From Beverly Hills.

But top grossing stars are often not great actors or even in great movies. I mean, who has classic film fest of the movies of Tyrone Power?
